Football Fans! Drew Bledsoe did something today quite unique.As most of you know he was recently traded to Buffalo.If you can get a copy of today's Boston Globe do it, because it will be a collector's item.

Bledsoe took out a full page ad in the Globe, and sent the New England fans a thank you letter.I've not seen the whole thing but I did hear exerpts on the radio.It is a genuinely warm thank you to the fans that have supported him through thick and thin during his past 9 years here.Incidently, his fans would number in the 99-100% catagory.

I have no idea what a full page in the Globe costs, but it set him back more than a few bucks.A class thing from a classy quarterback.

To give a little perspective on the cost of the full-page ad.....

I place help wanted ads in the globe as infrequently as I can. I usually run a small line ad (10-12 lines in the column). It costs me $650! So multiply that by 500 and you may come close!
