JOB DESCRIPTION:
HOYA Vision Care-North America is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to represent our complete line of optical lenses and laboratory services to eye care professionals in the Houston, TX area.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
We are seeking outstanding people, who have exceptional character, and know how to sell! We are looking for professionals who put customer interests first, take initiative, are willing to consider new ideas, can readily admit and learn from their mistakes, assume complete responsibility for their performance, and can meet their commitments.
The position requires:
§ 2 or more years of proven success in an outside territory sales role is preferred; Experience in a related field is highly desirable
§ Bachelors degree preferred; related experience may be substituted
§ MUST have demonstrated the ability to close and complete sales and respond effectively to customer objections
§ MUST have solid sales presentation skills, both to individuals and to groups
§ MUST have strong communication and interpersonal skills, including relationship building
§ MUST have solid PC computer skills
§ MUST be professional in appearance and attitude, a self-starter and able to work independently
§ MUST be available for overnight travel as needed
§ MUST have a good driving record; background check and drug screen required
Base salary plus bonus, car allowance and expenses. Candidates must live in the territory.
