    Drill bits for 7E edgers.

Where (besides from the manufacturer) can I get drill bits for my 7E edgers? I realize that they are more expensive because they are left hand bits, but National Optronics price is out of control.

I've never paid attention to the cost of the drill bits...cause they seem to last forever...and our poly lenses don't crack. When I did a comparison on the disposable carbide blades, and vacuum bags, their prices were in line.

    Bits

    I have a 7HLP.

Its probably the same bit..Its a milling bit. Not a drill bit.

The bit only costs me about 65 dollars.

How much do you charge to drill or notch? Heck i get the bit paid for in like 3 jobs...

The bit is good for literally hundreds of cycles.

To me, the price for the milling bit was worth every penny. And National Optronics makes top quality product.

There is a distributor in mnpls called genie supply I can get the info for you if you like.
The 7E 7EA 7HLP all use the same milling bit but the HLP spins opposite to the 7E and EA. You can change the spin direction to match the HLP model by switch the wires around.
