We have the newer silhouettes with the swarovsky crystals that just came out. Those supplanted anything else we had before.

Also, when is your office typically closed, and do you have an alarm system?

Yes, we do have an alarm. :) The highest frame that we have right now is Caviar and Cazal. But, we are wanting something a little higher. More of a showpiece than anything, something probably over $1000 retail. Trying to find any suggestions. We use to carry the Swarovski's when Silhouette had them.

We don't do any "jewelry" eyewear so our high-end would the newer Silhouettes, some of our Pro Designs are pretty high, and we just added the hand-painted Ronit Furst line.
We had Bevel but that sort of faded away, I don't know why.

Yes, the store has cameras, guard dogs, alarms and we are all required to be heavily armed.
We leave the front door unlocked one night a week just for fun...

Kidding... just an old alarm system.

I'm glad someone brought this up because I wondered what people thought of them. I left a message for our rep to come in so we can see them as well as some other looks I have seen in magazines called (I think) Flashlights? Has anyone seen these? I'd like to get some in but I'd also like to see them before hand.

I think that since Silhouette has discontinue the Swarovski collection (now by Marcolin) it's a good alternative to substitute them.

Versace... though why I do not know, no one buys them and they sit gathering dust. Seems a waste of money to me.

You could just sell them on ebay. That's what all the thieves did when they stole them from us when I worked in the LC.

I'm surprised they aren't selling though, pt's of a certain age are always asking about them.

    @ Chris Ryser

Silhouette was the maker of Daniel Swarovski collection. This collection is now made by Marcollin since the beginning of 2011.

Since they have lost this collection, they are now selling Silhouette frame with Swarovski crystal to compensate the lost of the brand.

It's a little complicated, but it's so the story which was told us by Silhouette in France !

We keep all our high end eyewear under lock and key.....LC and other Mall outlets make it way too easy for frames to walk off....

Our high end was Swarovski, but we didn't move to Marcolin with them. Now it's Judith Leiber and anything that sparkles in other lines, like the Silhouette with crystals and the few Dior peices that really shine.
