    Looking for Progressive lens identifier

    Anyone know where I can order a progressive lens identifier along with the booklet of engravings in Canada? Thanks

    Hi it is available from The Optical Lab. Association, easy from your lab To have it
    However The Montreal school of Optometry have One and really Great book

    The Progressive Lens Identifier Guide contains hundreds of lenses showing markings that identify the name of the lens, supplier, and material along with the position of the fitting cross and the lens supplier’s recommended fitting height.



    Lenses are listed according to identifying symbols, lens supplier name, extended range of add power and variable focus designs.

    Yes, go to The Lens Guru online and get not only indentifiers, but countour plots and a searchable database of progressives as well. Great site!!

    Does anyone else have an alternative to the lens guru? It says under construction! I need to identify a Progressive with a stylized S!

    This is what it looked like, although maybe slightly more 'S' like; only distinctive marking on the lens. Anyone have any clues?

    That looks like the Essilor Smallfit marking. I will try to post a picture from my identifier book
