Well, we have our striker back (Brian McBride) and there will be some players hoping to make the final cut for the World Cup team, so the US should put up a fight anyways!
The game starts in about 3 minutes, and I'll be tuning in to have a look at Lansdowne (sp?) Road!
Unfortunately, all the broadcasts of World Cup action are going to be around 4am here, so I won't be catching much of it, that's for sure!

OK, so normally I couldn't care less about kickball...except when my son plays (thank God he grew out of that and now plays football).
Being an Ol' AOH'er, I would cheer for Erie. I can tell you in a lot of towns in the Northeast, this game would be a MUCH bigger draw if Ireland was playing Italy again!
So when I get home, I'll watch the game on Univision so I can hear the dude yell GOAL in Spanish.......:bbg:
Now Hurling, there's a real man's game! Just think how great hocky could be if you could hit the other guy with your stick:hammer:
Go Flyers!
Give em hell Ireland.....
3-1 to Ireland....
Oh singing in the rain!
1-1 it is half time. There is a lake on the pitch
Keep an eye out for Duff in this half:)
Oh yess Dickie Murphys throw in that Clare gameEyeManFla said:

Jasus, Gilligan was flakin at him but he paid for that and was banned for the rest of the season.
I prefer playing Gaelic football over Soccer. Soccer can be too prancy and fast and gentle( I am not the quickest- I am the lazy striker)
Football - the ref is more lenient its a good game and its challenging
Just a wee bit wet, wasn't it (or is that an example of a normal evening's weather in Ireland)?
Unfortunately, we didn't play as well as a 2-1 score might indicate...
Hope that wasn't an indication of what I can look forward to this June!
