Anyone heard of Korrect Optical?

Has anyone heard of Korrect Optical? I got a job alert today that they are looking for licensed opticians in the Phoenix area. I've never heard of them. Looks like they are based out of Kentucky.

It's a small old school family optical company. They have a really long time and do a lot of VA work. My guess is that they have an opening in a VA hospital, M-F, 9-5 (or close), you boss os a 1000 miles away or more and the offer insurance. It could be a sweet deal.

Think they do a lot of industrial, RR, etc. work. Can't say I'm impressed with it though.

You are correct Chip. They produce quality slightly above what these companies are willing to pay for.

They have the Minnesota state welfare contract also. I looked at the prices the state is paying and it's something like $7.00 for lenses including multifocals. The work isn't the worst I have ever seen but it's hard to imagine great quality at that price.

Ownership and management are good people for what it's worth. I've never worked for them but have worked with them on a few projects. I'd recommend them as an employer

It is a nice position... I work for an eyeglass lab (contractor) at a VA but for a different company. :)
