Prayers for Japan

The optical industry has very strong ties with Japan. In lenses (Hoya), frames (so much beautiful high end product comes from Japan) and ,many other technology, Japan has made tremendous contributions to our industry. It is only fitting that as optical professionals, we commit ourselves to doing what we can to aid the support and rebuilding of Japan. Regardless of our perceived issues (Essilor, Luxottica, online sales etc...), there is an entire nation that has been turned upside down, right before our eyes....Let's dig deep...they need us.

I would suggest donations to the Red Cross as well. My Church will be taking up a special offering for missionaries in japan.
