I was wondering if anyone can discuss their usage of this lens, more specifically, the difficulty or ease of fitting, and patient happiness and comfort with the lens? Thank you!

Haven't fooled with them since they were called "Saturn" contact lenses. Have heard they have been improved, but they were anything but easy to fit, anything but easy to handle, expensive and durablility sucked. Had one patient wear them 3 years without a tear, most of the rest about 6 weeks tops.
My understanding is that in the old days, the junction between the soft & rigid portions would continually tear, but that this is no longer a problem. I'm hoping that this new lens will be a great problem solver, as well as a way for us to differentiate our practices with excellent products that people can't buy online. It is supposed to have the comfort of a soft lens and the crisp vision of an RGP, and now both parts of the lens have high dK.
