Responsibilities:
Advise patients by providing them with key technical information to help them make the appropriate eyewear selection. Consult with patient, resolve eyewear problems or concerns; perform maintenance on eyewear. Analyze individual patient's records, lab bills and eye frame invoices.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience

• American Board of Opticianary (ABO) Certification and completion of a twelve month Opticianary Training Program required
• 5 years of experience working in optical dispensaries highly preferred

Skills

• The ability to utilize customer service skills in order to positively impact the experience of care for our patients, external customers and internal service partners
• Excellent internal and external communication skills
• Ability to match styles with customer needs
• Sell, fit and dispense eye care products
• Share new product information and provide support
• Order product and review product and invoices
• Analyze lenses and frames to ensure quality control
• Good working knowledge of computer systems
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet the needs of the customers and the department

  • Monday 8am-8pm Cottage Grove Clinic
  • Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm Hastings Clinic
  • Friday 8:30am-5pm Hastings Clinic
  • Occasional weekend rotation
• Non-contract
