Wink Looking for a mature woman's frame collection

    Happy Holidays to all!!

I am looking for a collection of LOL frames.....Little old ladies and we love them all :-) Currently we carry Modern and they fit the need but would like to also offer a little more hip, touch of bling-bling version of the LOL frames. Price point wholesale $50- $75. We've looked at Sophia Loren but would like suggestions from you guys on what else is out there and worthy of a look.

    Thank you for your input.

There are some sassy little Liz Claiborne frames out there, even Kate Spade has some fun smaller frames. I've been selling those fun and funky frames to the "Grandma's" out there. They love those up-lifting, fun frames! I actually sold a Pro Design to a 75 year old hot rod mama the other day. :bbg: Coach are great sophisticated, professional frames but we all know where those are going..

I do okay with the Clearvision line for the older, more economical patient. Woolrich through Hart-New York Eye does well for my grandpa pts. :D

+1..those are great frames as well.

P.S. Annie, I love your She-Ra avatar. That's what I used on Facebook when we were supposed to change our profile pictures to old cartoons. :bbg: 1st I used Jem, then I used She-Ra, lastly I used Monchichi. ;)

Silver Dollar's Port Royal collection might have what your looking for. We've done well with these for the LOL. Also good price points.

That's a big demographic for us - Jessica McClintock from ClearVision sells out every time.

Sophie Loren is good ,but I think most older ladies don't want old lady frames they want fun frames.

    Tura and Hana do well.

A man went to an eye specialist to get his eyes tested and asked, "Doctor, will I be able to read after wearing glasses?"
"Yes, of course," said the doctor, "why not!"
"Oh! How nice it would be," said the patient with joy, "I have been illiterate for so long."

Well she's about 75 with dyed black hair, wears leather, has a Harley edition Ford Truck and acts "young". Very pleasant lady to work with. I wish all patients would be like her, she is the kind you can joke around and have fun with. I also wish I would look like her when I'm 75 years old. She looks about 20 years younger..not sure what she does but she looks darn good..even with dyed hair. :bbg:

P.S. Whoever said the old ladies don't want the "old lady" frames, are right on. They aren't asking for the frumpy "grandma" looking frames. They want the younger looking, up-lifting, youthful look.

Tura and Charmant have very nice higher-end options. I've had a lot of luck with Elle as a lower-cost line as well.
