Idea Considering a used edger--which one would you choose?

So our lab may be in the market for a used edger (and possibly a tracer) soon, and I'm looking for any opinions/recommendations you can offer. The most common models I see listed on a fairly consistent basis are:

    Santinelli 7070, 9000EX and 9000SX
    Optronics 6ES (paired with a 4T tracer)
    Briot Accura CX

Any thoughts? Your input is greatly appreciated!

What type of work are you going to be doing? I love my 6E and 4T, but, they do not do well on sharp geometric shapes and wrap designs. I've used the same 6E for +11 yrs. If you have mechanical aptitude, it is quite easy to service.

We do all materials--mostly poly and Trivex, but some plastic and high index too. Even glass on rare occasion, but I'm trying to phase that out completely. Some of our frames are sharper geometric shapes, and we do the occasional wrap, but not too often. More than anything, I need something that can do Trivex well, and that can do a good trace on even the crappiest of frames. Sadly, I have to deal with lots of Modern and Capri... :(

Where is the closest repair guy/gal for each of the brands? Quick easy service when they are close.

Makes a big difference when you need service, especially when you are paying mileage.

7070 only because it's an easier DIY fix than the 9000 series. I know some people like the 6es but I'm not one of them. Very limited when you want a nice polished edge - something the Santinelli's excel at.
