If you are an optician using a plastic frame welder would have made an invisible job

Redhot Jumper Could have made a nice finish..........................

This is actually an old Zyl frame, still has pins on hinges, and could have been put together by a dip of the broken surfaces into acetone, put into 2 clamps and joined for an overnight stay in place.

Following that, next day file of bulges at joint. fine sand them and buff. Would made an invisible joint and not a plumbing supply finish.
