Redhot Jumper Essilor Eco 1.5 Index CR 39 Hard Coated Lenses ..................................

Just stumbled over a lens classification I am not familiar with....................maybe anybody else is. Essilor Eco lenses.

Essilor : still the world leader in spectacle lens innovation, manufacture and design.
    Introduction

Essilor are well aware of the market in which they compete. In fact, most would agree that Essilor have designed and created some of the world's greatest spectacle lenses.
Essilor are still the world leader in spectacle lens innovation, manufacture and design and have long been associated with ground breaking lenses such as the worlds first line free, progressive power lens, the Varilux multifocal lens.
However fewer spectacle wearers are aware that the Essilor lens portfolio includes far more than their market leading premium lens designs. It also includes a comprehensive collection of Eco budget lenses.
These lenses are produced using as mass-moulding technique, which has enabled Essilor to produce a range of budget lenses.
The Eco range of budget lenses are manufactured using Essilor expertise and experience, using mass production technology to reduce the cost and therefore the price you pay.
While there is no doubt that the Essilor premium lenses are the 1st choice lenses for fine eyewear, Eco Lenses a very creditable second best, and in some cases, better than many ''premium'' lenses offered by less able manufacturers.
