Job Description :

GENERAL FUNCTION:
Consult with optometric practices, understands their workflow to make recommendations of software implementation and training. Develop implementation program, training workshops, videos, and manuals used by optometric staff to understand the full potential of software.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Deliver training on-line remote training with clients
·Provide training schedule, coaching of software implementation, etc.
·Follow up with clients to ensure proper deployment of software.
·Develop on-line Tutorial Videos
·Develop Set-up Training Materials and Checklists
·Develop web-based seminars
· Help Clients understand Insurance requirements for electronic billing and claims submittal
·Release note documentation
·Help Manual development and documentation
·Help coach support staff on basic optometric knowledge

SPECIFICATIONS:
·Limited on-site travel required; 10%

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
·Passionate about teaching
·Strong training skills
·Ability to coach
·Ability to influence clients
·Knowledge of training industry and best practices
·Strong administrative and organizational skills
·High level of both verbal and written communication skills
·Personal adaptability
High level understanding of optometric Insurance billing, incl. VSP, Medicare, and Medicaid

EDUCATION:
Prefer ABO/NCLE Certified Optician
Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Business or Communications.


EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years Optical management experience
