Tennis specific sunwear - Bolle and others

Does anyone have any experience with the Tennis lenses from Bolle or any tennis specific sunwear from other companies? What is the advantage of these non-polarized lenses as compared to, say Costa's or Maui's.

I have a large tennis population in my area which I am trying to attract for eye exams, Rx eyewear, etc and my feeling is that if I have tennis specific eyewear that I can do that more easily.

    Thoughts?

Well, they are a lot cheaper. Why not Smith? Don't put in a lot thinking you will sell them as dress, however. Charmant had a memory metal with slidable cable temples that a local tennis coach just loved. When he found out they were discontinuing the frame, he bought another just for a spare. This frame was a non spedific sun that worked well. We have not done as well with sports -specific anything, in answer to your question.

Polarized lenses *may not* be ideal for outdoor tennis on non-grass surfaces. See Nikevision website for more info.

I think the question was non-polarized. For that there is a new one called Day and Night or autumn Gold . They start yellow kinda like kalichrome and turn darker in the sun. Find a good frame for athletics and you're good to go.

Try the Arthur Ashe Eyewear from American Optical. WAIT! They discontinued that line in 1975

Andy Roddick just signed in with Lacoste. Maybe check Charmant, or wait Luxottica has them, or did Safeeloe puck them up?
