    Horizon III Edger help...

I've asked this question many times before, but since there seems to be so many new folks around here lately, I thought I'd ask again:

I have a Horizon III patternless edger that is complete except for what is needed to calibrate the edger and the tracer. Does anyone have a set for an edger they no longer have/use?

    Thanks

I used to have 3 horizon III edgers. What kind of tracer is it? Is is a stand alone?

    I'm pretty sure it's a Saturn.

Me either. I havent seen or heard of the saturn. Ive always had the 4t tracer. The edger itself is easy enough to calibrate. Just trace the 58mm circle that comes with it to calibrate the probes and pull that trace as a pattern and cut it. when you get it to 58 mm youre good. It may also have a built in calibration pattern, often optronics uses 002 as the default cal pattern. Depends on the year it was put out i think. Try calling optronics support about tracer?

I don't even have the disc.

I have a 4T as well, but this will be used at a different site, so I can't tie it in.

To run the axis calibration, you need some pattern blanks with a line along the 180. This should be done each day.

Try Innovative Optical Systems in Sakatchewan, Canada. Speak with Cory . They made patternless retrofits for the Horizon II . They may be able to help you on the Horizon III

Are you interested in parting with them?
