Edger recommendations

Has anyone used the Dia edger? Pros and cons compare to the Santanelli edger?
Do you think it is good to have an edger in office at all? Pros and cons?

I don't know if you need a new or re-built or what materials you cut the most but my vote is for an Optronics 6E. All of the maintenence can be performed by the operator and parts are fairly uncomplicated to replace. I've had the same one for 11 years and it runs like a top.
