Love is a duet, each voice complementing each other and making them sound better than they would alone, each voice at times stepping back and letting the other shine. We've got a pretty good duet going Tina.
On April 28th, I'll be marrying my best friend. I can't wait!
Happy Birthday!!

I came, I saw, I left
hehehe
Thanks guys!
I've spent an exciting morning at the dentist getting a wisdom tooth bashed out of my skull. Everyone should try it at least once! hehehe
Trying to fit a birthday candle on top of a Lortab tablet is tricky...but I'm determined to make it work! ;)
2 points of advice...
1. You dont need pain meds, it's the inflammation that's causing the throbbing pain, control the inflammation and the pain will disappear. (400mg ibuprofin every few hours does the trick).
2. Dont bite down on the gauze, you're causing more swelling by doing so, instead fill the cavity with just enough gauze to soak the blood but not enough to put pressure on the gums when you bite down.
Disclaimer: I'm not a dentist and my advice is worth the same as the homeless bum down the street, as always in life use common sense and decide what's appropriate for your situation.

Sounds like fun for your birthday! Since we're on the subject. . . having my wisdom teeth out was one of the best things I've ever done for myself. I was awake for it (had all 4 pulled), drove myself home, and only had to take a couple of IBU 800's all weekend. I had it done on a Friday morning, and was at work on Monday. Only the people I told even knew I'd had work done. Now, my husband was off work for a whole week with his.
Here's another tip (if you didn't already know): don't spend a lot of time laying down flat. Reclining is okay, but you'll have more blood flow to your face if you're laying down. That'll keep the throbbing to a minimum. :)
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
Indeed, you had fun for your birthday :).
Happy Birthday, Brian!
Best regards,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
When I had my wisdom teeth out they told me not to drink out of a straw. I thought that there was no way anything bad could possibly happen from sucking through a straw and sure enough, I was back at the dentist office one week later with a serious case of dry socket.
So, ....... DONT USE A STRAW!!!!
Happy birthday!!!!!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes, and the medical advice. Since we're not supposed to give it out - officially - I'm going to go on the record as saying: "Thanks, but I'm gonna follow the guidance of my local voodoo priestess, Madam Laveau, and eat pickled frogs legs, boiled with bat wing broth, and followed up with a dusting of powdered alligator male parts. She guarantees it to work". hehehe
Maybe I'll just stick to the lortab instead...and no straws. :D
You guys is da best!
Bri~
P.S. For any who have been following, my Uncle Vic passed away on Wednesday as well. He was my uncle with the brain tumor, and the main reason Gwen and I moved our wedding date up to May this year. We are glad we had time to spend with him before he left us. It sounds like he was comfortable at the end. Ironically, he shared a birthday with Gwen (July 25th), and just missed it passing on my own birthday (July 21st.) We miss you Vic, and hope we may have the chance to talk with you again someday!
