    swimming googles

    Hi,

    Which diopters should be manufactured to swimming glasses if the prescription is +5,00 dpt ?

    I think that +4.25 dpt, but i'm not sure..

    I assume you're talking about vertex compensation. The numbers you quote suggest a diving mask (further from face, increase of vertex), not a swimming goggle (usually close-fitting, reduction of vertex). If so, use the usual formula:
    De= Dl/1+dDl.
    If the patient is the least presbyopic, do you want a distance Rx? These masks are often used where visibility is limited to intermediate distances. Maybe an intermediate Rx is better.
