A new store is in the works, any tips
Look both ways before crossing the street?:D:D:D
- Differentiate. Not only in product, but in service.
- Know, beforehand, who your target market is and focus only on them
- Build awareness of your store. People cannot come to you if they do not know who or where you are (and remember to focus on the target market here too)
- Put everything you have into it. People will recognize your heart if you show it.
- Treat people the way you would like to be treated, and think things through from their perspective
Be prepared to move inventory around after opening.
After opening, you will find that there is a "comfy" corner favorite area where customers like to try on frames. Put your high end stuff there.
Value line goes where the customer doesn't like to congregate.
Tough to tell where customers will go until after opening.

not sure if i should copy my currant store which does well, or try whole new theme.
