Hi Everyone,
Does anyone out there have any idea about organic shield coatings.
Would like to know what machines/process can produce these type
of coatings.
Thanks in anticipation for your help.

Do you mean Scratch Resistant coatings, or Anti-reflective coatings??
I believe he means this: http://www.tokai.be/content.php?hmID...ID=27&ssmID=96

Organic Shield Coating
By developing an organic coating, we can offer heat-resistant plastic lenses of unsurpassed strength.
Conventional Hard Multi-Coating consists of a lens substrate and a Hard Coating layer—both made from organic compounds—and an inorganic Multi-Coating layer. Due to differences in the elasticity of each of these layers, exposure to heat leads to cracks that form in the low-elasticity Multi-Coating layer, which is unable to keep pace with the swelling that occurs. In some cases, water or perspiration adhering to the surface of the lens will seep into these cracks and cause the coating to peel.
