I'm curious to know if anyone is using this tool and how you like it, and also how much is it in Canada.
Thanks:cheers:

We looked into this but decided against it. The reason being is that we have a full-time optician on staff that does this for the pt's anyways.
Not to sure on the accuracy of this device being that its the first generation.
in fact there are lots almost same kind of equipment for the same purpose, we have it here as well as Carl Zeiss Relax Vision Terminal and a third party equipment AnyView Plus. i think no one can tell the accuracy of it even the pupilometer you have been using it for years.. but 1 thing i can sure is these new gadget have more consistent reading compare to pupilometer even when you have different personnel to handle it. besides, these also able to help your patient in choosing which is frame that look nice on them as it can take a few photo shot and do the comparison.
Yeap
So what competing devices to Visioffice exist?
I've seen the Zeiss one, and now the AnyView Plus. Any others?
Does anyone know to what degree of accuracy they measure PD position? Is it to 0.1 mm precision?
that are the few equipment that i know..
yes all of these equipment said to be have 0.1mm precision, pantoscopic tilt and vertex distance measurement. so it said to be 'correct' way of measuring.
also i would like to apologize for post my opinion in the canadian forum which i not sure i should or shouldn't voice out here..
Yeap
Please try TruPD.
Didn't use it yet, but it seems that can make my work easier.
