Eye Care Review/Eye Care Business and Fashion

Eye Care Review (Canada's only Eye Care journal for the three "O"'s - we write for all of them, as well as circulate to all of them), is looking for writers, and reviewers of our peer reviewed articles. Eye Care Business and Fashion is also looking for writers - Eye Care Business and Fashion is also circulated to the three "O"'s. It is for them to place in their waiting room for their clients, but also something for the professional to read as well. It features sections on "Ask an Expert", Fashion, and a Consumer section, to name a few. We are looking for both Canadian and American writers.

We pay an honorarium for all articles that are published. As well, we issue a certificate when someone has peer reviewed an article, that can be submitted to your College for CE credits.

I don't see them selling us down the toilet like the westerners . In fact the opposite seems to be true.

Don't be so sure on that assumption. They are desperately trying to make friends while catering to all three O's. In a normal environment, that would be fine; however this is a political one where conflicts of interest are not allowed to exist. Think about it...why are they so desperate in their attempts to have alignment with the three O's and have them as allies on their side?

This family group sends out newsletters to each registered optician to shed light and bring awareness to the COO's shenanigans, misuse of funds etc...saying we must all do something to support the profession - which seems like not a bad idea.

However, they have a family member on the COO council (President actually) and nothing is getting done. He is simply in there as a mole for his family as part of thier hidden agenda and master plan.

Caveat emptor; time will tell.

Some days Eyemanflying, I think you are a little high when you write this stuff. Why not drop below 10,000 feet and get some oxygen to that brain of yours ?

the COO's shenanigans, misuse of funds etc... .... they have a family member on the COO council (President actually) and nothing is getting done ... Don't you think it might be possible , that nothing gets done because of COO's coverups and shenanigans and misuses? Don't you think it is possible an errant Executive Council & Registrar is the problem ? The new President is probably working harder than the entire council , just to get things back to the way they were supposed to be and he may be single handedly fighting all of them .

COO could not do it's "shenanigans, and misuses of funds" if the Council was not part of their employee's nonsense. If Council had any "rocks" before , then we would not be in this mess and the Opti Goddess would not be there.

There are a few members on that Council , that do have "rocks" , morals and ethics. The New President is definitely one of those ! l And he is a trustworthy leader .

It is true, the old Council hid everything from everyone.
