My e-mail address got hacked..................
Any OptiBoard member that is on My e-mail addsress list and that got any e-mail, that I got robbed in the UK......................please ignore it.
My e-mail address got hacked this afternoon ad I just get flooded with phone calls from all over telling me about it.
I will do my best to stop the dirty affair as soon as I can.

relax chris, this is nothing, i just got an email from the nigerians, they say you have a big fat bank account and they like that, i think they have 50 million that needs to be deposited in canada, someones aunt died

My e-mail account has been hijacked yesterday and several fake messages have been sent out to collect money to help me out of some trouble in the UK.
Our e-mail account had been hijacked on Sunday and fake messages have been sent to the listed addressee's Please ignore these messages, the e-mail account is locked for 24 hours by Yahoo and the will need new passwords. All mail to it will be automatically returned until then.

Our E-Mail Account with Yahoo has been hijacked and mis-used to scam money out of people.
Please do not respond to those e-mails received pretending they are from me, Chris Ryser in need of money stranded in the UK. but actually being in Florida in the cold weather.

I got scammed by this same individual a few months back but he sent me a bottle of edge polish in return for my money. Just kidding, hope you get everything back in order.

Thank you all for the comments. I hope this case is now going into the past and is history.
At 6am I could finally get back into my e-mail account at Yahoo, after it had been locked for 24 hours for being suspect to fraud.
I had to come up with a load of answers and then change pass word and check the contacts (responsible for the e-mail account) and saw a e-mail address listed on G-mail which I never seen before.
I assume that was the one that sent all the messages in my name. I sent him/her a very, very, very nice e-mail telling him/her that a complaint had been lodged with the US government and now we even had an address to find him/her by the IP address.
I made a short report on my website to make easier for the ones that did enquire about the problem and I am posting a direct link to that page sothat anybody on OptiBoard who wants to know can also look at it.

Think logically,
Harry think logical, by having had a free hand with my e-mail account with over 1000 adresses asking a reasonable amount would seem less fictional than larger ones and many might sent something.
The big chief of my bank I work with, said he thought it was a scam, but if true he would have sent a lot more.
