"Political Correctness."

I do not necessarily agree with the definition....but the definition itself is, well, amusing....

Re: Core & Moral values there is an annual contest held each year at Texas A&M University

calling for the most appropriate
definition of a contemporary term.

This year's term was:

"Political Correctness."

The winner wrote:

"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an un-scrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

"pick up a turd by the clean end"

I first heard that expression at Basic School at Quantico, VA in 1962. I have always wanted to be able to use it in conversation but always forget it until it's too late. I hate it when that happens.
