And I'm not quite sure how I feel about that.

Love is a duet, each voice complementing each other and making them sound better than they would alone, each voice at times stepping back and letting the other shine. We've got a pretty good duet going Tina.
On April 28th, I'll be marrying my best friend. I can't wait!
Sounds like fun. I'm sure you can find something wild and crazy to do in a bunch of snow. We usually play on the four wheelers with sleds and find crazy hills and terrain. LOL Though probably not the safest activity.
I wish!!!
For a couple days now, they've been predicting a dusting of snow for Thursday. OKC hasn't had snow on Christmas since 2002, and sporatically before that. Even if it doesn't stick, it'll be so nice to see snow falling at Christmas!!
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
Southern Oregon so far has been mild this year. :)

We are looking at 8"-14" coming at us tomorrow! I am already in a deep depression about it!

Curse you to Hell Old Man Winter!!!!
Which means we'll either get nothing or 3 feet.
WWWWHHYYYYY, why did i forget to buy a snow shovel? *sob* 2 feet of snow....and I ended up digging my car out with a frisbe... A FRISBE...
ah well, at least it'll be a good "In my day" story for the kids and grandkids someday...

We only got about six inches, and it's mostly melted off.

got about 30 cm last night. First time shovelling at my new house.
It was cold last week. -30 C with windchill.
I was quite pleased the afternoon of the storm when I went to the airport in Worcester, MA to take the Mooney out for a little toot around the patch. There was hardly any snow on the ground as I drove through the gate and the taxiway was bare asphalt. Yet we had a good eight inches on the ground at home. Turning the corner to my hangar I found that all the snow that had fallen the previous 12 hours had drifted up against the hangar doors. It was about five feet high. The boys cleared it out and all is well till the next nor-eastah.
I left Ohio last Wednesday, drove through WV, Va, NC, and a few other states on the way down to Fla. (business;)).
Once I get down there, my niece calls me from I-77 in Va, and says she's stuck in a whiteout! My Mom calls from Ohio and said they got 11 inches.
So last night, I drive home, and it's 44 degrees and raining! Not a bit of snow to be found.
I think it's just a conspiracy! My son's got some new ski boots that he's aching to test out, and NO SNOW!!:hammer:
We should've stayed in Fla. At least we could do something down there!

We got 3 inches which is a lot in Texas. In fact, this is the first white Christmas I can remember since I moved here in 1982.
Unfortunately, this morning my husband was taking a friend to the airport and on the way back slide on some slick ice right into the back of a truck. :( He's okay (thank goodness!) but our van isn't looking so good. It's drivable but the hood is bent, the grill is gone, and the bumber is messed up.
The other vehicle was just slightly damaged and the other driver is fine, too.
We had a huge snowstorm yesterday! It snows plenty in Oklahoma, but it's usually just a couple or few inches then it's gone in a couple days. We get mostly ice and freezing rain, which is really dangerous and harder to drive on. Anyway, it's been a great Christmas playing in the snow this year. In my yard, there's anywhere from about three inches up to probably 18 inch drifts (the official measurement is 14.1 inches at the airport). For a two year old that's been dying to throw snowballs at Daddy, this was perfect!! Our Christmas plans had to change and have been postponed until next week, but everyone who had to be on the road is safe.
It is so very rare that OKC has a white Christmas. This really has been a treat.

I think you all need to consider a move to New Zealand. The weather is warmer, you can go to the snow if you really want to (it's on top of the mountains here in winter for the ski and snow board junkies). We're lacking in dispensing talent - I'd say a full 600 of you could show up and we'd still need more.

Of course you need to leave your guns at home, learn to relax and not work weekends and take all of those 11 public holidays each year, and your four week minimum mandatory break!
Cute commercial. Then there is the one about the Australian that tried to sell New Zealand on Ebay.
