What form are you talking about: authorizations, order entry, or something else?

    I was to vague.
    I had an authorization number.
I went to retrieve it and recieved an error.
My co-worker authorized a new service. When she went to retrieve it, she recieved and error also...
I called VSP, all reps were busy.

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!! I just tried it again and it's OK now. :) It must be one of those computer and internet things.

GEEEE, I got one claim posted. then I authorized another. Got an error. Seems like I need to have the pop-up blocker turned off for Eye-finity to work. I do not consider that a good design. Now I'm having trouble getting back on. I'm wondering if there new "web form" page is causing the problem.

Also, do you have any third party toolbars on your browser, like Yahoo, Google, Norton, etc. that may have a popup blocker on top of the browser's blocker?

I had problems today also. Mostly with submitting claims.

    No trouble getting authorizations.

This is a pretty good indicator that it was an Eyefinity glitch; unless it's different outside California, someone usually picks up within seconds unless there is something going on that has created a high volume of calls.

    Problem resolved.

I got through to VSP support which sent me to Eyefinity suport. I think my problem is over. It was my problem.... kinda.....

I have been working on an automated logon program to speed up VSP entry. The previous logon screen was:
    https://secure.eyefinity.com/eyefini...nity_logon.htm
    now it's
    https://secureb.eyefinity.com/welcome/

To go into more detail would be just nerd talk. I can get in now, I just gotta do it by hand until I learn what they changed and update my code.

Thank you to all of you for all the helpfull suggestions.

We had problems about 2 weeks ago. We couldn't recieve any authorizations. They fixed the problem on their end. I would call VSPand tell them your problem. In my case it didn't have naything to do with pop up blockers. They blamed it on the new program.

They are definitly having server issues, pages are taking longer to load (if at all) I just had a patient, in order to get into reports from the CMS-1500 form I had to switch from Internet Explorer to Firefox (and I've had to go the other way too, for other patients).

First make sure you go into internet options on whatever browser you're using and within the pop-up blocking field, create an exception for whatever site you need to access. Same with any toolbars you may be using.
As for automated login script, both Firefox and IE save passwords and logins, so not sure how much more automated one would need, unless you're talking about actually passing info back and forth through VSP's API without even going to the actual site.

Has anyone been able to get on Eyefinity in the last 4 hours? I started trying to get on at around 12:00 pm ET (9:00 AM PT) and have gotten the timeout message on both IE and Firefox.

I think Big Brother shut them down. Luckily, my tin foil hat and red foam clown nose have kept me safe. Still, I'm thinkin I'll head down to the Wally World after work and stock up on shot gun shells and pie....just to be safe. ;)
