No longer a VSP lab?

I heard from my lab rep that Homer is not going to be a VSP lab in the new year. Is this true?

It's possible, VSP doesn't announced labs that they are removing from the system to the public, just one day they are no longer on the contracted lab list, just ask Noveau Optical:

If the lab is telling you that, it's probably true, VSP did announce that they were reducing the list approved labs several months ago.

I have an account with two labs, it was the other lab that told me that. I haven't heard news from Homer yet, I think I will give them a call in the morning.

I heard the same thing from one of my accounts. I just wish she could find the letter from VSP.

Homer is Essilor.

The only Homer Lab that will not do VSP is York, PA.

Does that mean all VSP orders going to Homer will be directed to the Silver Spring facility? Or does that mean if your using the VA or PA Homer labs then you will have to find another VSP lab?

I could see this as being an issue.

As far as I know, if you want to use Homer for VSP work, you need to send it to Silver Spring.
