Blue Jumper Quick Progressive Vs Single vision identification

I know this sounds very basic, but I was wondering what tricks or ideas anyone had on a quick, reliable way to tell the difference between a progressive and a single vision. Our office is a heavy participator with the Lions club and we will collect, neutralize and bag 15,000 pair of glasses this year. When we collect them we they are all mixed up. We have to sort them, mens and womens then single vision and bifocal. Sorting as many as we do you literally have about 3-4 seconds to tell if they are single or PAL. Out of a 100 pairs of single vision sorted 20-25 pair will be PAL. Some of the higher RX's with the lower add's distort so hard in general it make the add at the bottom hard to see and when sorting there isn't the time to look for the etchings. Any ideas? I'm all ears.

In the lensometer, just move the lens around. A single vision lens will stay pretty consistent with the rx if you move it around. A PAL will not

Direct Visual observation. Look at a Calender on wall 4 to 5 ft or more away while moving it just once up n down, the deformity pattern of any PAL cannt be missed .
