It's expenesive!!! In the wholesale labs it's easier and faster to groove, edge polish and drill seperately. You may want to think about this before buying a machine this expenesive. A good used Horizon III or 6 with sepreate drill, groover and polisher may be better suited to what you need and a whole lot cheaper.

There is nothing wrong with any of the all in one machines, but remember the convenience of having everything in one little package means you will sacrifice speed, and somewhat the ability to customize grooves and drill points. I agree with Jaq you can buy a new AIT edger, groover, and drill system for way less money, and have the ability to do more work, faster, and perhaps even higher quality.

We use 3 of the 7e or hlp edgers two to groove and one for drill mounts along with three 6es. This has significantly reduced our breakage although it is a slightly slower process. The 6es however do still tend to polish more consistently and just a little better due to the larger spindle, but the old 6e grooving system was terrible.
