It is by universal misunderstanding that all agree. For if, by ill luck, people understood each other, they would never agree.

There is a glass lens that does the same job.Have a look here
AVN (anti-visual-noise) coating. Expensive and delicate but will make the need for aspirin go away for even the most neurotic programer.
Chip
Chip, tell us more about AVN coatings, I'm totally intrigued.
Have used same, for a few heavy computer users who actually use the computer 12-18 hours a day and complain of fatique, headaches. I am talking about the people who are poping 6~60 asperin a day. All have found it wonderfull and solving thier problem. However if you use it on some broad who just got a job where she uses a computer for the first time an hour or less a day, this is over~kill and she will figure out that you just got here $100 - $150 for nothing.
The coating is a series of coatings looks a little goldish and is delicate. Also expensive. Should be used only in the circumstances described above and only for a pair of glasses that will sit on the computer when not in use. One good grass cutting will ruin them. But all the patients I have used this for have said it was worth twice the price after they had used it.
Available from Cumberland Optical in Tenn.
Chip

Chip, can you please elaborate on how this AVN coating is different than a "regular" a/r lens?
Just curious....
Thanks,
Karen
