Just found out that the Kodak Unique is currently unable to be ordered with any prism. They say it is due to the software. Can anyone elaborate on this for me?

I was told it is due to patent issues. You can add prism to any other Kodak lens without problem, just not the Unique.
If you're looking for a free-form with prism, I would recommend the HOYA ID or Shamir Autograph.
I'm not sure about Zeiss or Rodenstock, though I am sure others on here can tell you about them.
My 2 cents.
A lack of planning on your part DOES NOT constitute an emergency on mine!
Meant to post this under the PAL discussion. Sorry!
ZEISS and SOLA free-form progressive lenses can incorporate prescribed prism. Further, the optics of the lens design are optimized for any prescribed prism in order to reduce the optical aberrations normally produced by prismatic corrections. If you're looking for a free-form with prism, I would recommend the HOYA ID or Shamir Autograph... Rodenstock can provide up to 4 D of prism
FYI: An ICE-TECH PAL can be ordered with Prism, these are digitally surfaced advanced design lenses. We can produce a wrap PAL like no one else, thinner, lighter, better optics. (As someone who has worn a pair)
Shameless plug for our product but they really are excellent lenses.
