Help! Where can I find adjustable screw in titanium nose pad arms?

My sister recently purchased a pair of Chanel 3131 black frame acetate (plastic) glasses and they don't have adjustable nose arms. They sit on her cheek when she wears them and wants adjustable ones drilled into the existing frames. Where can I purchase these adjustable nose pad arms in titanium?

    I'm in NYC :o

    Here's an example: http://i25.tinypic.com/260fmlx.jpg

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I can sell you a pair!!!!

$618+$87(for shipping) USA dollars, paid cash, up front, before I send them! If you hurry, I may be able to get them to the UPS store before they close!

    Or,

    Try here!

You could always get them direct like Chip has already suggested! These must be like really important if you posted this here and in the General Forum!

Have to settle for "lesser" metal...

Don't think you can get them in titanium but they don't weigh that much. Why would you want something as hard to adjust as titanium anyway?

PS you can get them in either drill/screw mt. or heat sink. They both work fine if you're carefull.

Would stainless steel be better? I'm afraid it would rust or something. What would you suggest for durability and longevity?

Anything that the rest of the world can use for nose pad struts will work just fine for your sister. Even if she is status concious enough to wear Channel. Don't tell her and she will never know. A whole package of theses isn't going to cost but a few bucks. You might want to just go to an Optician and get him to order and install them. They can be tricky. If he's an old guy he might even have some already.
