"Get in Line"

Ok, at what point does the justice system step in and shut these illegal operations down??? :hammer:
Opticians should start picketing and hanging out in front of every location each day and hand out flyers to customers before they enter containing all of the history, facts and newspaper articles.
Sooner or later, he will leak off the wrong customer and vigilante justice will come into play. Cant' wait!!! :shiner:
I have been on record and continue to believe that Bruce Bergez will take this right to the limit.
I don't think anything will stop him unless he faces jail. I also believe that the two colleges should have known that and known the nature of the beast by now.

An interview with Bruce Bergez...
Sv

back in court
I have to laugh...this is a rare, priviledged interview??? Hilarious. This moron now thinks he is of celebrity status when he's actually still a criminal. :hammer:
A conspiracy brought on by the OD's due to market share infringement? Then why is the COO also suing??? Bruce, you are delusional and the Opticians also despise you. Welcome to the world of competition in a democratic society.
And he can't share details of the case during the interview because of confidentiality??? Since when did he develop a conscious and actually obide to court requests??? Is he actually going to start paying the fines and following the dispensing laws? Pffft, Ofcourse not.
This is the most interesting crap ever.
I have two words for ypou Mr. Bergez. 'Mental Hospital'.
Ya right Bruce..."I am handcuffed from commenting on technicalities. We are in confidential negotiations with both Colleges to settle all affairs and to comment further would breach my promise of confidentiality," he said.
Exactly...since when did he develep a conscious to obide by the law?
And also, as some of us here are members of those Colleges, he indicates that there are 'confidential' negotiations going on??? If true, it sure would be nice to have those 'confidential' details shared with its members by the Colleges.
Then again, he's such a b'ser you can't believe anything that flows out of that mind and pie hole. Let's not be fooled here - He has his own reasons and hidden agenda for doing that interview.
From the article:
"The registrar for the College of Optometrists last week said the college may now have to consider going to court to have Bergez jailed because record fines haven't stopped his operations.
Bergez said the matter may be settled. "I am handcuffed from commenting on technicalities. We are in confidential negotiations with both Colleges to settle all affairs and to comment further would breach my promise of confidentiality," he said."
It is harder to find the nuggets of truth in the mounds of BS this guy has said from the beginning. His statement makes it seem that everything will be settled and he will continue business as usual to the relief of customers and franchise owners who may be concerned about getting caught in the legal battle as a few of them have already. As well, he is probably still trying to sell franchises.
He will take this to the extreme limit and then skip the country to the Caymans where he likely has a fat bank account full of cash siphoned off undetected from this enterprise. Now that he is aware that at least the college of optometrists is feeling the cash crunch to follow through, he will simply ride it out.

But what about the government? He's now in the same league of bilking/owing as Garth Drabinsky - and they put him away quickly.
At what point does the government come knocking looking for their money and/or jail time?
It seems to be shrouded in secracy from all levels and parties involved.
Is this debacle still going on?
What the diddley?
A-On his side : It tooks time to prepare a "legal" bankruptcy.... so I won't have to pay, and still have a nice retirement plan, in foreign banks.
B-On the Colleges side : We have to pay our lawyers, we'll be patient.
Problem is that A knows B, B doesn't know A.
Simple ? isn't it ?

Too bad the College of opticians was unable to provide comment since they were closed for renovations.
