It came from an optometrist office and has been tested to work just fine after it was serviced by Zeiss in 12/08. We have two of these so we will part with the serviced one. It comes with the manufacturer's packaging box for proper and secure shipping (see picture). Don't ever trust random packaging and delivery of electronic ophthalmic instruments.
