Crier Looking For Red Lensometer Ink

Where can I find the red 'checkwriter' ink. I am looking for the old-school oil based kind. None of the office supply stores that I have checked with carry it. It seems that everyone is switching to the newer water/alcohol based inks. Unfortunately, they don't stick well to the super duper AR coats.

    Someone please help!!!!

Only on super thin, high plus lenses.

The blood works great, but I'm too lightheaded to do anything else after I mark all the lenses.

    Redhot Jumper Ink...............

    Ink features:
    - Shellac type lacquer dries to a nice shine
    - Great permanency of color
    - Indelible and solvent resistant
    - Available in black, turquoise, royal blue, red, green, brown, yellow, violet.

This one is a very old ink and not compztible at all with a lensometer as it dries very fast. It should be an oily non drying ink.

PSI has an ink that does work well on the hydrophobic lenses, but it tends to separate so you have to keep the bottle shaken up well.

I don't think that this would be a big research program. A thin grease with some compatible pigments should do the trick.

I am still using the old tubes of chewckwriter ink that must be 30 years old or more. The stuff does not even go rancid.
