Business Development Representative

Location:Your Home Office- South Dakota, SDSalary Range:Base plus commissionExempt/Non-Exempt:ExemptBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(K) etc.Type:Full TimeDepartment:SalesDescription:The Business Development Representative (BDR) This individual will work out of their home office and travel to various client sites to fill orders, give information on new product offerings, provide samples and marketing material, and provide superior customer service.

· Your overall performance rating is “Solid" or higher.
· You have completed six months in current position.
· You are not on any performance counseling action. Duties:-Meet or exceed sales goals for Rx, premium lens and coating products, and equipment
-Increase sales by effectively communication the advantages and benefits of Carl Zeiss Vision products and services to the ECPs
-Support national marketing and collateral efforts
-Plan, develop, and conduct on-site and group training seminars to increase demand for Carl Zeiss Vision labs, lenses, and equipment
-Schedule and conduct product education work shops that are results driven
-Establishes a positive working relationship with Carl Zeiss Vision employees and colleagues
-Maximize and execute customer marketing programs to accomplish goals and objectives
-Develop and prepare summary reports as necessary
-Efficiently manages travel cost
Qualifications:-BS or BA in Business, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations or related field or 2 to 3 years sales experience in optical industry preferred
-Rx sales experience ideal
-ABO speaker certification preferred
-ABO Certification preferred
-Excellent written & verbal communication required
-Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills required
-Excellent computer skills required
