What will you do to make a better rimless frame ? (besides designning a better look)
I can start with rimless frames designed for 3 base curves, low, medium, high.

More and better shapes, and PATTERNS !!!. I know with the new $75,000 edgers it's possible to modify shapes, but most of us can't afford this. It wouldn't be hard for the frame companies to come out with a dozen or two dozen different shapes for each frame.
Jacqui, that's what pattern blanks and tin snips are for!
I know, but there are times the real thing is better.
On a rimless frame only the top curve has to be respected, if there is one and the rest is up to your fantasy and you can go from octagular to triangular with and without corners.
I probably have over 100 different pattern shapes from Silhouette. I've put Silhouettes on everything from a -9.00 to a +5.00, that covers a broad range of BC's.
That is one reason I like to work with Silhouette, but other chunkier rimless frames are not like that, some are designed with flat lens, some are with 6BC, most of the time we can some how make it work, but it is not pleaseant(ie, -7.00 with Oakley rimless) , so it will be much easier if no adjustment(or minimal) needed .
