    le9000 problem

    Hi All,
    A friend of mine has this Nidek and the feelers are rejecting the small frames any ideas?:idea:

    They are probly hitting the leap pads or the chuck. Cut down the leap pads and/or use a smaller chuck.

    Take a look at what I am saying. It could be the mode. Active or passive. You likely will have to should manually decenter the small stuff. If that does not work, you may wish to contact OPTIBOARDER OPTICLABRAT, or Leo Hadley.

    Feelers? Do you mean the feelers in the tracer or the feelers as in "Lens Measuring arms" that measure front and back base curve?
    You can try cutting on "FC" mode which moves the LM arms a bit closer to the chuck, or using a thin card, like essilor includes in the back of the AR Cloth pouch, to cheat the feelers.
