Does Mr Jilson agree this beach is top 5?

Found this list on Comcast today.

How far is it from the office Harry?

Hard question! Answer is I don't agree!

My favorite beach on Cape Cod is Sandy Neck in Barnstable (my former hometown), most North siders would agree. Coast Guard Beach is a Great Beach but I like Nauset better. Nauset Beach is the home of Liam's clam shack....noted not for its seafood, but it's WORLD CLASS ONION RINGS! ( also the main reason I would put it above Coast Guard Beach.)It's hard to have someone else grade your beaches-no one at comcast knows much about beaches. Of the top 10 I've been to a few and I would rank East Beach in Watch Hill Rhode Island, and Nappatree Point above any I've seen on the list, and that's including Cape Beaches!

You can google images to see each of the beaches on my list.
In answer to your other question, Coast Guard is about 30 miles from my office!

    What's YOUR favorite beach??

I thought that now with the weather improving (at least in New England) it might be fun to hear about other "favorite" beaches.

In the words of Yogie Berra, "the Cape's so crowded no one goes there anymore." We will see casinos on the Cape one day soon.

I am sure that everyone has their own favorite beach. It depends what you like. I, meself, much prefer the lake or river to the sea shore. We spend half the year an hour from the Oregon Coast. This area far surpasses anything on the east coast.

The reason most people go to the beach is to swim. The water temperature in the pacific northwest requires a wet suit to be comfortable in the water. I checked a number of "best beach" lists and didn't find one listed in Oregon. Since rbaker spends summers in Oregon (or was it winters) how would he know how crowded it is on Cape Cod?

I grew up on Craigville beach. Used to hit Old Silver too.I remember watching jets coming and going from Otis Air force Base while playing on the beach. The family sold our Craigville home some years ago for what turns out to be a song. If we only knew.
