    I need a new pupilometer!!!

So our office pupilometer is ancient!!! I mentioned it to the office manager and she told me to order what ever I wanted.

    Any suggestions?

Hilco PD stick and a permanent marker for backup,

Cause once you drop the pupilometer for the first time you might as well keep it for decoration. Ancient or not they're all useless unless you calibrate them constantly.

We have the Essilor Digital CRP, it works and does the job. There's always the Mark II 152mm PD stick that does a good job as well. I have a nice metal one our Viva rep. gave us.

I would check with your Essilor, Hoya, Zeiss or Shamir reps to see if you have any "points" you can redeem for equipment. We once had so many Zeiss points we received an Autorefractor for free. I just "bought" an Essilor Pupilometer that was no $ out of pocket.

    Worth asking at least.

We use the Hoya pupilometer and have no problems. We had to pay for it but we were given coupons to offset the entire cost of it. I don't know if they still do that but I am sure Optigrrl can chime in.

Now I am really hurt, I didn't get any pupilometers at Vegas last year and I even hung out with Optigrrl for awhile. I guess I see how I really stand with her. :D

I thought you took PD's by holding a PD stick vertically.

I know just the online vendor that you would be perfect for.

You would have to be at least as accurate as they are.
