I've seen quite a few pts come in with tiny "bubbling" around the edges of poly lenses with AR/SG ... ESPECIALLY on semi-rimless.
Never new.. usually 1+ year old lenses.
What causes this? Defective lenses... incorrect cleaning... what?!

It can not be a chemical reaction, because poly would craze and dstroy itself.
I would guess it must have been contact with heat, as too close to a hot plate, a flame or a cigarette burn.
