The Ultra-Light Portable Phoroptor Stand has been tested under rigorous conditions by military and civilian doctors in deployment and expedition type use. It glides through its 360 degree horizontal movement. The adjustable spring tension allows for 17 inch effortless vertical movement. The ratchet type brake knob can be used to lock the arm in any vertical position. Its powder coat gives the phoropter arm not only a nice, slick look but makes it scratch and chip resistant to take the rough treatment given during travel.
