Advanced Optician Study Material

I am currently ABO certified and would like to get my AC in November. I have the Advanced Certification Exam review course book from NAO and the Optical Formulas Tutorial Second edition. Any suggestions on any other study material that might help.

The ACE book has been replaced with the Advanced Opticians Tutorial. You may get it from NAO. It follows the job analysis for the advanced exam. It also includes areas that were somewhat missing from the first book. I believe that you will find that if you study it and look at the additional references in the back as well as the tests, you should be prepared. Obviously, there is no guarantee of passage to any exam. It requires study and understanding.

I would definitely get the Advanced Opticians Tutorial. It is much clearer and had a better lay out than the ACE. Also, if you can attend a review course, (the one in Cincinnatti in Sept is great) it will help. If you need any help or have any questions, feel free to contact me. It's a lot of hard work, but if you're determined, you should be fine. :)
