at that time, the lens that has many prism diopters.

i'm using NIDEK LM-990 model, this lensmeter can check 12 prism diopter below.

but, some progressive lenses has more prism diopter in near view circle.
at this time, i can't check the lens power. lens meter just show me "data error". :hammer:

how could i decision this lens has correct addition power or not?

    waiting your opinion.

engraving means drawing mark lines of the lens?
if it is right, sure i checked it.

i means, the lens has high (-)power and cylinder, with long corridor length.
if corridor length is more longer, prism diopter is increased too.
    because, prism thinning or decenteration.
so, prism diopter is over the Lensmeter's prism measurement range.
then i can't check the lens addition power too.

The lenses add power is engraved on the lens.

Hold the lens up to the light. You will see the engraving in the lower outer corner and it will tell you the add power.

I think you need a better lensometer. Get a manual one.

Try adding a prism lens with the opposite amount of prism together with the lens while checking and it should at least bring it within range of your lensometer.
