Thanks for the info. I called ImportLux and the rep is supposed to give me a call. Trying to bring in a frame for a customer. He wants what he has now but has been unable to find anyone that's willing to sell it to him. Not sure why. And just to be clear, nobody in our city carries the line, he has been trying to get opticals in other cities to send it to him.

Unfortunately, they sell more there in Winterpeg than Tundra Bay; however, I worked hard at decreasing that gap.

Name pronoucation is not important. My father still calls the Panamic the Paranoiac and the Alize the Alease.

    Does not hurt his sales

Anyone with a Tag account want an easy sale? Full retail plus shipping to Winnipeg. Tag rep never called me. I need a 3201 colour code 2. Hit me with a number I can give to my client and he'll pay by credit card on the phone. I'll rx them here. Let me know.

I am at home and don't know what the 3201 is, but I will call the company. I just left a message for my rep as we never had it in our inventory.
    i will let you know.

Watch out for Tag frames (and FRED). They have low margins (2.3x for ophthalmic) and they're on the internet...QUITE discounted!

    Barry,

Would you happen to have suggestions off of the top of your head for a better line of luxury frames? Ones with a higher profit margin, perhaps?

We add X amount to each frame. Our profit margin is always the same.

Hey, I always looking for the same myself. It seems any attractive *name* brand has, by definition, a poor internett back-end.

For now, a good quality, but conservatively styled line that we do well with approx 8-10 units a month) is David Yurmann. No real internet problems at present.
