    INDO Progressives

Does anyone have any experience and feedback on the INDO digitally surfaced progressive lenses?

    Thanks!

I have been very pleased with the reslutls that I have seen in the handful that I have ordered for patients. I have about 2-3 weeks into ordering them, and have no hesitation.

What design would you say they are similar too? Are they a hard or soft design. What type of patient are you choosing them for?

You can get the Invincia, which is a softer design for new wearers. You can go with the Expert which I think may be a little harder design. I am putting it on patients sorta of randomly.

    I love them

I have a pair and they are my favs.

I got "WOWs" from a previous Accolade wearer, 2 comfort wearers, a physio wearer. Sold a couple of extra pair of specs because they love the the lenses so much.

AND, I got the lenses (uncut) in 3 days w/ AR! That beats pretty much every type lens except for CR FTs and stock lenses.

Ivincia or expert? Do you use Digital Eye LAb or someone else?

I use the Expert on previous PAL wearers. You won't get any "WOW's" from the Inicia because these were previous SV wearers.

I believe that Digial Eye Labs is the only current US supplier of Indo lenses.

The main reason I use the indo lenses is that their algorithym has more flexibility for selecting *non-standard* base curves, i.e., as when I want to fit a 4 or 5 base curve "mid-wrap" for a higher minus sunglass (-7 to -9!), for instance. Also, larger eyesizes/decentrations. Also, "normal" Rxs that can't/won't be done with Shamir designs.

Everyone worked out great...or so the lack of complaints say.

    FWIW
