    Billing Medicaid for overpower charges

I've heard that it's possible to seek higher reimbursement on Medicaid plans when the patient Rx requires surfaced lenses to be ordered.
    i.e. a -2.50 cylinder. Please advise. Thanks!

The way my state requires us to bill medicaid is by the V code. The fee schedule/reimbursement is arranged so those that higher powers and specialty lenses, gets reimbursed for higher rates. For example, I would get $2 more for a V2103 compared to a V2100.

There are additional codes you can use for when you have adds above 325, use a FT35, etc as well.
