    XM Radio is amazing!

I just purchased a new car (well, an '07 but new to me) that has a satellite radio. The previous owner must have the service paid up through the end of the month or something- but I'll definitely be renewing!

XM Radio is simply awesome! I can listen to 80s music (the decade of the gods) anytime I want! It also has this station called "Chill" that plays cool alternative music... all without commercials!

Anyone else out there an XM addict? If so, what channel grabs most of your drive-time?

    YES....

I recently purchased a sirius and xm ready A/V receiver. I subscribed to Sirius w/ the best of XM and I love it!!!
They switch up the stations a lot with stations dedicated to one band. A few weeks ago The Bridge was 24/7 Led Zeppelin.

I love this thing so much I bought one for my car and my sons car for Christmas.

I have it in one of my cars and in my home. My other car doesn't have it and it's always a pain when I drive that one with all the commercials.

I hear they are having lots of money problems, though. I hope it doesn't go under.

    My son swears by it......

My son swears by it. He's been a Sirius subscriber for years. I found it a little pricey for the limited time on the road I travel, but when I was on the road a lot it would have been worth it. I listen to AM talk radio a lot and on the Cape, static can be a problem. This Xmas I got an "internet" radio for the bedroom. You have a choice of over 11 thousand stations from all over the world.

If ioconnell ever reads this, he will take comfort in the fact we have ClareFM as one of the presets, so he won't be so homesick when he visits. Its absolutely amazing to be able to get any station you want ( as long as it streams on the internet). The other nice thing about it is that it is free!

This link will take you to CCrane where I got mine. A picture of the radio is on the page. If you decide to get one there, tell them Harry sent you.

That was on FOX news the other day, but someone is trying to buy them out!

I agree that the 80's is the best decade in music! I love the 80's station, Hair Nation and Boneyard! I just wish I could find my AquaNet, teasing comb and LA Gears and I'd be set

1st Wave is great. I just felt a little old when I realized it's not new wave anymore. I guess it can't be new if it's 20 yrs old :shiner:
